Watching Time Pass

Watching Time Pass is a powerful short film that takes viewers on a journey through time, seen through the eyes of two curious children. While playing an ordinary game of hide-and-seek, Kai and Mike are unexpectedly transported into a mysterious realm known as The Theater of Time, where history comes alive before them.

Through the stories of Black icons who paved the way through courage, unity, and faith, the children witness the sacrifices, struggles, and triumphs that helped shape generations. From the bravery of Harriet Tubman to the impact of civil rights leaders, they begin to understand the powerful thread of community, faith, and legacy woven throughout Black history.

When Kai and Mike return, they leave with more than a history lesson—they return with a new understanding of the role they now have in what comes next.

Watching Time Pass is a story about remembering where we come from, honoring those who came before us, and realizing that the next chapter of history belongs to us.
